Joseph Campbell was born October 30, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. His father, a pastor, and his mother, a school teacher, raised him in the church. He joined many ministries at an early age including the choir, ushers, and junior deacons just to name a few. Pastor Campbell accepted his calling into the ministry in 2008, right after graduating from Michigan State University. He is the pastor of the St. James Unity Baptist Church. He believes education is an important tool in life and the one thing that people cannot take away from you. He proves this in his every day life where he serves as a Principal with Chicago Public Schools. He has his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, his Masters of Arts in Teaching, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. He soon hopes to start his doctoral program this year. He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Pastor Campbell has one child, Nathan.
He truly believes that you should "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
